The Reopening of Award-Winning Kunyit Restaurant

04 Apr 2022

The ANVAYA Beach Resort Bali is thrilled to announce that Kunyit Restaurant, our award-winning dining establishment, will reopen on April 15, 2022. Kunyit Restaurant provides Balinese and Indonesian cuisine and is one of the resort's top-rated restaurants. The term 'kunyit' is derived from the Indonesian word for 'turmeric,' which is used in many of the menu. Kunyit restaurant is the only restaurant in a five-star hotel that presents an ancient Balinese feel amidst the hustle and bustle of Kuta.

Kunyit Restaurant is influenced by Bali Aga. It is visible not only in the traditional family eating style of Megibung, a traditional Balinese dining ritual that consists of a variety of meals served on a one large platter, but also in the décor of this comfortable and contemporary venue. Kunyit Restaurant is open every day from 11 a.m. to 11.00 p.m. for lunch and dinner. It is intimate, warm, and friendly, with excellent chefs demonstrating interactive cooking.

Kunyit Restaurant has a capacity of up to 352 seats, making it ideal for any event. Kunyit Restaurant, which is both comfortable and expansive, is the ideal spot to enjoy a variety of Balinese and Indonesian regional specialities. Guests may enjoy a native dining experience, beginning with a traditional welcome drink and hand-washing procedure. Satay, noodles, fried rice, grilled fish, grilled river prawns, and a seafood platter are on the menu.

The reopening of Kunyit Restaurant was followed by implementing very strict health protocols. The ANVAYA Beach Resort Bali is a resort that has received CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environmental Sustainability) certification from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. This certification provides guarantees to tourists for the implementation of cleanliness, health, safety, and environmental sustainability.
